This could happen if the way the paper size was handled in ghostscript was
a little strange.
Maybe the best thing to do is to us Angus Duggan's psutils to rescale it
onto letter paper - this will shrink the text marginally but you probably
wouldn't notice it anyhow.
psutils were on the Edinburgh University ftp site -
ftp.dcs.ed.ac.uk from
memory. They are on a number of mirrors. They are a very useful software
utility.
