Hello. Sorry for the sketchy question. OK, the system log files (messages
and maillog) show nothing about exim. Exim's mainlog has nothing either.
However, I've noticed that these core dumps are happening only when doing
local deliveries. Some deliveries do take place, most don't. However,
there's no trace of exim failing in the mainlog. An incoming message is
simply logged, and it's not logged as being delivered. when I look at the
queue, its waiting, and only gets delivered when I force a queue run. The
rejectlog has nothing useful either - only rejected connections trying to
relay off my server. However, the panic log is strange. I don't understand:

I'm not sure. How is it possible to identify the version? I've looked
through the db.h header file in my system source, and that mentions "HASH
VERSION 2" in it. Does that mean it's DB v2 ?

Again, I'm very sorry. I don't know how to analyse a core file. I'm fairly
new with sys admin stuff. If you can give me pointers, I'll try my best to
see what I can get from the core file.
