Thank you very much all for the input. It WAS a permission problem on my
/var/spool/exim directory. Ben's clarification of the needed chown's and
chmod's for this spool directory and its sub directories did the trick 4
days later (yeah I know I'm slow..) I suggest that the ...Majordomo... and
...Majordomo (again) ... threads be added to Dana Epp's page. It was
extremely helpful and I'm sure other people with my level of experience will
find it as useful. (I still can't explain why no other mail had any problems
in being delivered though ...)
