Okay...guilty! We had the problem some time ago with two macro variables of
similar names (the system did start though). However, as far as I remember I
used exim -bP to show what exim thought all the variables were. I could then
see the problem...fixed it...forgot about it. Deciding whether to mail the
list about what looks like a goof by me or a *potential* problem is sometimes
difficult...or rather embarassing if it's the first! With several things
happening at once though sometimes you just fix one problem and move on to the
next without a second thought.
