exim believes that you are using a Libc5 based linux - ie a debian 1.x
system. If you are a glibc version then "strange" things can happen (I am
starting to hate the Gnu libraries). If you are using glibc then it
appears that the check for the libc version is getting things wrong....
I suggest you check this.
