but unfortunately they're not yet all adding in-addr.arpa PTRs for their
dial-up pools (most of the big guys do, surprisingly, but pleasantly so).

This means that you'd also have to block all mail from un-authorized IP
addresses that could not be resolved to names (and that didn't verify
with the name resolved back to the address given in the A, and of course
if the name given in the HELO is one of these domains, or that name
doesn't verify through the PTR too). Or something like that! ;-)
