I'd like to do some benchmarks of exim vs. sendmail on one of my mail hubs.
Unfortunately, I'm too dense to find any way in Exim to create a
"virtusertable" in which I can set my "central" machine up as the lowest MX,
then, based on the recipient address, sendmail forwards the mail on to someone
else...
IE: virtdom1.com and virdom2.com both have lowest-MX-records pointed at
mail.realhost.com.
on mail.realhost.com, I have a virtuser file that reads:
info@??? joe@???
info@??? fred@???
Based on the recipient, sendmail sends the mail to the final-delivery as
specified in virtusertable. Note that this is NOT the same as a normal alias,
as the same userid@dom1 and userid@dom2 go to different final destinations.
Before I can test exim, I have to be able to do something similar.
Am I just dense, or is it hiding in there somewhere?
-abc (and yes, the virtusers above are a joke...)
