Looks like you have hit a known bug:
32. When a message was directed by a director to a remote transport, Exim
was likely to crash when trying to set up the process log text string, because
it was looking for a routing domain that didn't exist.
This bug is fixed in the next release, which I am working hard to get
out soon. Meanwhile, if you want to try it before I've got the doc
finished, pick up the 1.750 release from the Testing directory.
