Of course, one could conceivably do some sort of magic with
filtering and custom programs to accomplish whatever
functionality one desired. (Speaking of the RBL, is Exim
capable of using it? I haven't seen Exim explicitly
mentioned in RBL discussions.)
Personally, I like "slow rejection" of a kind, namely:
* Exim spots the message and freezes it.
* A human (that'd be me) who hates spam more than just about
anything else in the universe comes along, works himself
up to a suitable level of berserker rage, then spends a
bit of time to track down all the involved parties, figure
out who has the authority to nuke the access of those
parties, and encourages them to do so. :)
I enjoy using -Mmd and -Mar to "replace" the original
recipient with the abuse desk at the perpetrator's domain.
Some of my fondest memories are of spammers who lost three
accounts in one day because of me. :)
