Advance warning:
The generic "self" router option was introduced in version 0.57 (about a
year ago), superseding the private "self_mx" option in the lookuphost
router. The old option was retained for compatibility, but the
documentation for it stated that it would be removed in some future
version.
I am about to do some work in this area, and it seems like a good time
to make good my threat to remove the obsolete option, since it will
simplify what I am doing.
So, if anybody is still using "self_mx" on a lookuphost router, please
convert to using the generic "self" option now, so that when the next
release comes out you won't be caught out.
