Is it impossible to use wildcard in an aliasfile?
I get an error if I set "search_type = lsearch*":
1997-10-23 12:55:40 Exim configuration error
"partial" or "*" not permitted here (line 66)
Sad, this could be very useful when using virtual domains.
I am trying to gather the remaining mail with an * as the last entry in an
"virtual" aliasfile for a particular domain in one mailbox whithout
modifying the address.
This is the director I am trying to set up:
virtual:
domains = dbm;/etc/mail/domains,
driver = aliasfile,
no_more;
file = /etc/mail/$domain,
search_type = lsearch*
But this gives the above error. I am using Exim v1.73.
Can this be done?
