Subject: localhost masquerading as local domain.

hi guys, here's one for ya.

our exim server is setup to answer
to several local domains, of which
    the main one is netgraphe.qc.ca
now, whenever anyone sends mail from
    the server (hermes.netgraphe.qc.ca),
the header X-Sender and the user's
    address along with hermes.netgraphe.qc.ca
    is appended.

    annoying, but liveable with. now
where it really causes a problem is
when exim is trying to send an error
message. it oftens ends up trying
    to send it to
    postmaster@???
    which doesn't work.

    any way to make
    hermes.netgraphe.qc.ca = netgraphe.qc.ca
    without adding a *.netgraphe.qc.ca
    in the local_domains?

    thanks,
    jeff.
