A line like that is put between messages in mailboxes to which Exim
appends, by default, bcause that is the standard "BSD" messsage
separator line. You can configure Exim to put anything you like (or
nothing) between messages, by setting the "prefix" or "suffix" options
in the appendfile transport.

If you are getting such lines *in the middle* of messages, it suggests
there is a mailbox locking problem.
