Lines *beginning* with '#' are comment lines. '#' anywhere else on a line
(in the aliases file) does not start a comment, but is expected to be
part of the email address.
If you need a comment at the end of the line, I suggest that
you use an RFC822 comment, like this:
AUser: holiday@??? (until 1997-10-06)
#AUser: /var/mail/AUser
