I have just put exim-1.70 into the ftp directory:

The code of this release is only very slightly different from the 1.654
testing release. However, there are a large number of changes to the
documentation, which is now supposed to be fully up-to-date with the
code. Please report any errors or typos you come across so that I can
correct them in the next edition. Please also point out places where you
think I have been unclear or not explained something properly. The
postscript and texinfo versions of the documentation are in
ftp://ftp.cus.cam.ac.uk/pub/software/programs/exim/exim-postscript-1.70.tar.gz

... and, of course, please report any bugs or other problems you have
with the code!
