Have switched my problem E-mail exploder over to Zmailer and that can
handle it. But the interactive responsetime is very bad. Zmailer needs
around half a minute to deliver a local message under load. Can be
much more to deliver remotely. Also difficult to configure since there are
many and complex configuration files.
But zmailer has a real nice effective queue management and load
management which is key for sites handling huge amounts of e-mail.
