Thanks Nigel! I was talking utter nonsense there. Sorry. My excuse is
that people are coming and going around me, putting in telephone wiring,
fiddling with the phones, and generally being distracting (in the nicest
possible way, of course). Of course, it could just be old age and
general decay...
