Thanks, Piercarlo. As you will know, I have just released 0.55 and am
about to go on holiday for 2 weeks. When I get back I'll work through
your patches in detail.

I am hearing conflicting opinions about flock, and it seems to be only
in connection with Linux with one particular set of DBM functions.
Consequently I am not very keen to complicate Exim by supporting it.
