Even "Apparently-*" will be ignored by most MUAs. That's the problem.
You don't necessarily want this information to be ignored. Anything
that's not an explicitly standardised header (i.e. described in
RFC-822), is not likely to become widely known and used (even with the
proliferation of sendmail, "Apparently-To:" is still frowned on in some
circles). The "Recieved:" header is already defined, and serves this
purpose well. The only problem with it is that it is poorly understood,
and often incorrectly implemented by many MTAs (including versions of
smail before 3.1.90, and I'm still not sure I have the correct hostname
on the id field! ;-). The other more minor problem with the "Recieved:"
headers are that many MUAs are rightfully configured to hide them from
the user, while at the same time they fail to parse it for any useful
hints.
