The netdata systemd service file might be a good candidate to check.
Daemons that send mail by piping into /usr/sbin/sendmail do not go well
with systemd's model of setting restrictions on the daemon *and*
*everything* *started* *by* it. Exim's forking off an immediate delivery
process which might need a wide range of permissions tends to break.
