Subject: [exim] Strange issue with Exim-4.96 on Debian-12
I say strange because I don't see this on FreeBSD and Ubuntu-22.04. I am
using the very same config files I usedon FreeBSD, but adapted for use on
this Debian box.
Strange again, because this is happening with all emails hitting this
instance of Exim.
Strange a third time because on the relevant transport, I added
"message_linelength_limit = 1G" to see if that can mitigate the issue.

All clues are welcome.

root@eu:/var/log/exim4# !printf
printf "This is a test" | mail -s "This is a test" odhiambo@???

In an Internet failure case, the #1 suspect is a constant: DNS.
"Oh, the cruft.", egrep -v '^$|^.*#' ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ :-)
