An expansion I would find very useful in ACLs would be something like

${org_domain:<string>}

If the supplied string is a domain, it returns the Organisation Domain
using the algorithm from RFC 7489 sec 3.2 (DMARC).

eg ${org_domain:a.b.c.d.example.com} would have the value "example.com"
and ${org_domain:a.b.c.d.example.co.uk} would have the value "example.co.uk"

(I use ACL checks related to the "registered" domain outside of DMARC.)
