Breaking lines for readability, but otherwise quoting

-Mg <message id> <message id> ...
This option requests Exim to give up trying to deliver the listed
messages, including any that are frozen. However, if any of the
messages are active, their status is not altered. For non-bounce
messages, a delivery error message is sent to the sender, containing
the text “cancelled by administrator”. Bounce messages are just
discarded. This option can be used only by an admin user.
Bearing that in mind, I sent a message which should be retried, and
evetually bounce. Before it bounced, and not while it was actively retried
to deliver, root cancelled it with the -Mg command line option. The summary
of the log was
orig_id retry time not reached
orig_id cancelled by root
new_id <= <> R=orig_id
orig_id Completed
new_id => sender
new_id Completed
Only that the bounced new_id message did not had the text of “cancelled
by administrator”.
Is that expected?
