Ah, one more thing the linux kernel did at least at one time - I don't know
if it was ever fixed :- They saw fit to disable the entire facility if
an initiator ever has to retry a SYN. For quite a long time, before deigning
to try again. For all target IPs, not just the one having to retry.
That essentially makes it mostly never work if your system ever talks to
more than one target. IMHO, totally asinine (yes, I raised a bug...)
You can test this by poking the sysctl that disables/enables TFO.
