I'll leave the bug open for a week or so, to see if any developer wants to
take on the challenge. I won't be. If nobody does, I'll close it again.
(and I said "no support", not "has support", trying to imply that adding
this specific check would raise questions about a very large number of
equivalent-level test - meaning an immense amount of new work).
