https://bugs.exim.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2824

            Bug ID: 2824
           Summary: Logs: instead of "queued" I would say "transmission
                    started"
           Product: Exim
           Version: 4.95
          Hardware: x86
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: bug
          Priority: medium
         Component: Logging
          Assignee: unallocated@???
          Reporter: jidanni@???
                CC: exim-dev@???

Looking at this log, and comparing it to waiting at a bus station...

> 2021-10-27 00:37:44 1mfPSJ-0002xV-Fa <= jidanni@??? ...
> 2021-10-27 00:48:29 1mfPSJ-0002xV-Fa => simon@??? ... queued as BED387E692"
> 2021-10-27 00:48:29 1mfPSJ-0002xV-Fa Completed

It appears that at 00:37 I arrived at the bus station, and started
milling around waiting for the bus.

Then at 00:48 the bus suddenly arrived and I ran over and got in line
and boarded the bus right away. And in fact the bus then reached its
destination rather fast.

So the problem is with the word "queued".

Let me prove it,
$ man mailq
       mailq ... a listing of the contents of the mail queue on the standard
output.

Anyway, long before 00:48 mailq will show the message. So OK, maybe we
are talking about two different queues.

So what actually happened? I sent a giant message on a slow network, and
it took from 00:37 all the way till 00:48 before every last byte was
sent.

Anyway so instead of "queued" I would say "transmission started" there
in the logs.
