Thank you for taking the time to investigate and find a fix for this. I
suspected it was going to turn out to be something along those lines. I will
process your solution in due course - we don't like to leave less than 6 months
between releases, and 10.37 was in June, so there is no hurry on my side while
I'm busy with another project occupying my brain. The same fix is probably
needed for pcre2_dfa_match(), though I haven't checked.

No need to apologize about the formatting - I realize my style is
"non-standard", but I have been using it since the late 1960's (originally for
BCPL, before C was invented) so I can't change now, but I can read code in
other formats...

Thanks also for your appreciation of PCRE2.
