Thanks for accepting my contribution.
Ok, I will start working on adapting the CMake build system such it builds both
the static and shared library. Furthermore, I will make sure that the newly
written CMake config files can handle it. The modification itself will be a bit
more involved. Once I have something I will subject another bug/feature report.
