v10.32:
$ echo ABC | ./pcre2grep --no-jit '[\w]*[CA]X*B'
ABC
$ echo ABC | ./pcre2grep '[\w]*[CA]X*B'
ABC
---
Using PCRE2_NO_START_OPTIMIZE bypasses the issue (v10.35):
$ echo ABC | ./pcre2grep '(*NO_START_OPT)[\w]*[CA]X*B'
ABC
---
