So it's been a while, and libspf2 is still trying a SPF query before every TXT
query. It would mildly reduce system load if we trapped them and returned
"nope"
without going to the resolver library; we can do this because we intercept the
DNS call layer of the spf library so that we get consistent behaviour for debug
and
testing.
