Hm, we should find out if there is a relation between these retries and
the BDB problem. Can we find out, which of the DB files causes the
problem?
Can you
strace -o /tmp/strace.log exim -M 1iCT23-0004Cd-Hg
and
exim -d+all -M 1iCT23-0004Cd-Hg &> /tmp/exim.log
and provide us the output?
