One further thought: it might be better for this behavior to be configurable at
runtime using a pcre2_compile_context flag, so that a custom build of PCRE2 is
not required. The build-specific variance is why it took me so long to figure
this out (although, granted, I was also looking in the wrong place).
Either way, though, my central need is for some way to configure the mapping of
"\r" at pcre2_compile() time.
