Hi Philip, I hope and trust all is well with you.

Just stumbled across the following:

Regex: (?(?=^))b
Subject: abc
Result: No match

When we add the superfluous no-pattern, it matches as expected:

Regex: (?(?=^)|)b
Subject: abc
Result: Match at [1,2]
