What about jsmn:

lightweight for emedding. However, it is not very convenient from my point of
view.

integration is JSON parsing support indeed. HTTP can be easily emulated by the
existing approach (unless you want HTTPS). JSON support is unfortunately
essential to pass all data available from Rspamd side.
