--- Comment #1 from Mike Brudenell <mike.brudenell@???> ---
PS. I've just returned to the Specification yet again (to try and decide which
other per_XXX I should be using instead of per_mail in setup described.
Despite having read the section umpteen times I've just now noted that the
"per_mail" option "can be used in acl_smtp_mail, acl_smtp_rcpt,
acl_smtp_predata, acl_ smtp_mime, acl_smtp_data, or acl_not_smtp"
This does not mention acl_smtp_quit or acl_smtp_notquit, so it might be it is
not valid to use "per_mail" there at all, in which case I'd hope/expect:
1) Exim would warn or panic an error saying that "per_mail" had been used in an
ACL it shouldn't be, and
2) Exim shouldn't default to using "per_mail" when that option isn't valid for
an ACL.
(But perhaps, with the potential for one ACL to call another, this would be
complicated to implement?)
