I have built and uploaded Exim 4.91 RC3 to
https://ftp.exim.org/pub/exim/exim4/test/
No further feature patches will be accepted before the
final release, with one caveat (see below) Bugfixes are still
acceptable.
The caveat: a feature supporting Ed25519 keys for DKIM,
which is being added in this release cycle, is subject to the
specification still being changed. The mailinglist involved
is re-litigating the encoding of the public keys (in DNS records)
for this key-type. I'll decide on what action to take as and
when the situation becomes more clear.
Changes of interest since RC2:
- - SPF: additional variable $spf_result_guessed; tweak authresults string
indicating guess
- - Exit on SIGTERM if running as pid 1 - eg. in a container
- - ARC: fix compatability with other signature implementations
For signing, accept A-R header lacking ARC info as equivalent to "none"
- - DKIM: document key prep methods
- - Cutthrough: enforce non-use when ARC, DKIM or transport-filters are used
- - DANE: new smtp transport option dane_require_tls_ciphers
- - Malware scanning: enhance Avast scanner interface
