Looking back through 30 days of logs, I can see a steady stream of 'NULL
character' error messages which appear to relate to remote hosts attempting to
talk gibberish (TLS perhaps?) on port 25, with some HELO/EHLO transactions
mentioned after Feb 15th.
I didn't touch anything on or around Feb 15th, we were already on 4.90 at that
point.
I'll do some more digging and see if I can work anything out.
