I do it by forcing the mails to the queue with
control = queue_only
in a (eg. DATA) ACL...
and a redirect router which has
condition = .... whatever is needed
data = :defer: ....
retry_use_local_part = true
no_verify
But that's what your example no. 1 on github does as well.
