The above addresses the pointer being initialiased to one before the buffer,
which so far as I can tell is what the attachment is describing. There wasn't
actually a use of the pointer at that place in the code, so I'd argue with
the description "underflow" for that code location (but the pointer could have
gotten used later).
I don't see any "overflow"; please explain what you mean by that.
