We feed all exim logs into elasticsearch and query with Kibana.
Dashboard is pretty much real time, and makes seeing what's
happening across several servers much easier.

Graeme Fowler did a good write up a few years back which I based
our setup on, which might give a good starting point.

The elastic stack has moved on quite a bit so some things might
need updating slightly, but even still it shouldn't take long to
get a basic setup working.

You can easily then also use the logs to produce e.g. monthly
management reports as well. You could pull summary reports out to
feed into another database (which might be what you're doing with
SSH now if I understood correctly), or just start storing them in
another elasticsearch index.

Cheers,

Matthew
