You might be thinking of ARC, which is another signing system like DKIM,
but not DKIM, signing a different limited set of headers to provide a
chain of custody between signing systems, such that a host with a
mailing-list-manager which implements both DKIM and ARC can re-sign with
both.
Exim doesn't implement ARC. I'm not yet sure if that's something we
should do or if it belongs entirely in the MLM.
Mailman 2.1.18 was the first to have the features we need, 2.1.23 is
current, we can switch to a manual install, it's just a matter of
figuring out policy and approach and coordinating instead of me riding
roughshod. But I think that I have the okay to do as I think best.
