Hello,
on behalf of a customer (small hosting company) I'm searching for a
simple (web) UI to configure mailaccounts. This UI should be something
like a self service portal for the hosting cutomers.
Ideally it is just a UI without any assumptions about the mail server
software in use. (e.g. ISPConfig assumes a Postfix, CPanel is fully
integrated with Exim, …)
It should just write data into some database (or directory service),
that Exim and Dovecot (or optionally any other mail server software )
can access, to get the information about addresses, forwardings, quota
and such.
It does not need (and should not) deal with DNS and Webhosting. Just
mail.
I'm lacking experience… VExim - is it still maintained?
