You're certainly confusing things by setting up a duplicate delivery to
the name "spamcatcher2". Whether that's the source of the problem, I don't
know. I fear that some duplicate-elimination may happen. Certainly by
the time we get to stage 17 there's only one... and it appears to be all
complete, despite there being a hints DB entry to look at.

In step 6 you say "The spamcatcher2 account processes". Is this acutually
Exim doing processing, or something else? You say "significant delivery" so
I'm assuming it's actually an Exim router.

Is there any way you can eliminate this use of a pseudo-mail-address?
