Script now written to detect failures in the log files. My next steps are to:
1) Get the script to email me when it detects a new message going missing
2) Start up a tcpdump session to capture traffic destined for
mx.avasin.plus.net, mx-ironport.last.plus.net and mx-ironport.core.plus.net
(which all resolve to 212.159.8.200 and 212.159.9.200)
3) Get the script to stop the tcpdump when a failure is detected
I hope to complete the above this weekend, and then just wait for the next
email to go missing.
