Thank you for testing, and for finding out what was wrong. I have chosen
to remove the extraneous trailing space from testinput3 and testoutput3
instead of adding it to the alternative output files, and I have
committed my patch. I'll probably put out the release in about a week,
as there have been no other issues reported.
