I sort of expect people who use pcre(2)test not to throw ridiculous numbers at
it. However, I have now "hardened" pcre2test (sic) against this kind of mad
input, assuming that fuzzers are going to keep throwing it. However, pcre2test
is a complete rewrite of pcretest (which was always a lashed-up hack), and was
relatively straightforward to deal with. The pcretest code is a mess (which is
why it was rewritten) and I am sorely tempted to leave it alone and close this
bug as "won't fix".
