Subject: [exim-dev] [Bug 1712] New: $prdr_requested variable in rcpt ACL that states whether the SMTP client requested PRDR

            Bug ID: 1712
Summary: $prdr_requested variable in rcpt ACL that states
whether the SMTP client requested PRDR
           Product: Exim
           Version: N/A
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: medium
         Component: ACLs
          Assignee: jgh146exb@???
          Reporter: sebastian@???
                CC: exim-dev@???

Currently, my users can chose from different spam filter levels. The rcpt ACL
makes sure that for each message only recipients with the same filter level are
accepted, recipients with different filter levels will be deferred. The data
ACL can then pass the content through different checks according to the defined
spam level for the accepted recipient(s).

With PRDR, the rcpt ACL does no longer need to defer recipients with different
spam settings. But it has to know whether PRDR can be used for the current
message to act accordingly. Therefore, I suggest introduction of a variable
$prdr_requested (or any other suitable name) that tells whether the client
requested PRDR for the current message. The variable should not state whether
the PRDR ACL will actually be called, because this depends on the number of
accepted recipients.
