possible fix
I have no way of testing this; it would be appreciated if the bug reporter can.
The fix addresses only space/tab embedded in the base64 blob during decode,
and affects all uses of the routine used. I'm fairly sure there are other
deficiencies in the FWS-handling - eg. each side of the '=' after the 'p' (and
other) tags.
The operative portion of the fix is in the "base64.c" file; the others are
coding-standards massaging to current project norm.
