Can you read the files?
sudo -u $(exim -n -bP exim_user) openssl x509 -in /etc/ssl/certs/mail_seiner_com.pem -noout -text
sudo -u $(exim -n -bP exim_user) openssl rsa -in /etc/ssl/localkeys/mail.seiner.com/mail.seiner.com.key -noout -text
