You have read about the various options to -d, haven't you?
If you use '-d+all-auth', '-d+all-expand', or even '-d+all-lookup-expand' does
that get you what you need?
(yes, I appreciate the +all is superfluous but it's a useful mental construct
to say 'switch it all on and then turn these bits off')
